While Our Story may have started this whole adventure by accident, it’s the dedicated team that helps bring every project to life. Each member brings their own skills, energy, and vision to the table, and together, we make sure you get the best experience from start to finish.
Robert: The Visionary Behind It All
Let’s start with Robert—the guy who kicked all of this off. He’s got the background in commercial photography, the eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure (trust us, you need that when you’re photographing kids and sports!). While he’s the one who accidentally fell into portrait photography, his ability to bring creative vision to each shoot sets the tone for everything we do. Whether it’s making sure every action shot is perfectly timed or ensuring the light captures the true spirit of an athlete, Robert’s expertise and leadership keep us grounded in our mission: to capture you in your element, looking amazing.
Angie: The Heart of the Team
Angie, is the heart and soul of our operation ensures that every shoot runs smoothly. From the moment you book with us, Angie is there to guide you through the process, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. Her calm and friendly demeanor puts everyone at ease, whether it’s an athlete nervous before their big shot or a whole family trying to get that perfect group picture. With her eye for detail and natural talent for organizing, Angie helps bring the creative vision to life—always making sure we get just the right shot and the right vibe.
Renya and Gavin: The Offspring
Renya may be a pre-med student at CU Boulder, but she’s also got a knack for making everyone feel at ease. With her natural sense of humor and her ability to get kids to laugh, she’s become an expert “poser” and a crucial part of our team. Whether she’s guiding athletes through their photos, or making sure they’re looking their best, Renya brings a fun, lighthearted energy to every session.
At just 17 years old, Gavin is already a force to be reckoned with in the creative world. A talented photographer, writer, and musician, he’s already published two books, released his first album, and created several award-winning short films. On top of all that, he’s even created his own Dungeons & Dragons game! Following in his father’s footsteps, Gavin is quickly becoming one of our best up-and-coming photographers, with a creative vision and artistic eye that is well beyond his years.
